TenZone Beta Privacy Policy

Overview

TenZone is an offline archery scoring application developed by Cubicle43, LLC. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how TenZone handles your data.

Data Collection

TenZone does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app operates entirely offline and does not connect to the internet, with the exception of the beta testing error reporting feature detailed below and software updates. No data is collected or transmitted by this feature without your explicit, deliberate actions.

Data Storage

All data you enter into TenZone, including archer profiles, scores, courses, and competition results, is stored locally on your device only. This data stays on your device, except for anything visible in a screen picture you choose to send in an error report.

Camera and Photo Library

TenZone does not access your camera and has no access to your photo library. Please note: the screen capture utilized in the error reporting feature is generated internally by the app of its own user interface and does not require or request any camera or photo library permissions.

Analytics and Tracking

TenZone does not use any analytics services, advertising frameworks, or tracking technologies. No general usage data is collected.

Beta Testing Error Reporting

During beta testing only, TenZone includes an error-reporting tool. It never runs on its own.

  • Starting a report: shaking your device opens the reporting screen with a picture of what’s currently on screen. You can draw on the picture and add notes, or cancel, and nothing is saved or sent.
  • Sending a report: pressing Save stores the report on your device and sends it to Cubicle43. If you’re offline, it’s sent when your connection returns.

A submitted report contains: the screen picture (including anything you drew on it), the notes you typed, the name of the screen and the last few screens you visited, the TenZone version and build, your device model and Android version, and the time of the report. It does not contain your archer profile name or any device identifier. Your scores, profiles, and other TenZone data are not sent, except for anything that happens to be visible in the screen picture.

Screen pictures and reports are stored on Cubicle43’s own server at private, unlisted addresses. The report text and a private link are posted to a password-protected Sleekplan board that only Cubicle43 can view. Sleekplan processes reports on our behalf and does not use them for anything else. Reports are kept for 90 days, then deleted. You can ask for your reports to be deleted at any time using the Delete My Data form.

In Google Play’s Data safety section, this appears under “Analytics,” which is Google’s term that includes diagnosing and fixing bugs. TenZone does not use any analytics or tracking services.

This feature is temporary: It is present exclusively in beta builds and will be completely removed from the application upon the official public release.

Third-Party Services

TenZone does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or SDKs that collect user data, except Sleekplan (used only for optional beta error reports, described above) and Google Play’s update check (described under App Updates).

Error reports on Sleekplan are password protected and private.

You can request to have your data deleted by using the Delete My Data form at https://cubicle43.com/delete-my-data/

Children’s Privacy

The TenZone beta is open only to testers aged 18 and over. Please do not submit error reports while a profile belonging to anyone under 18 is shown on screen. This policy will be reviewed and updated before TenZone is made available to younger athletes.

App Updates

If you installed TenZone from Google Play, the app may ask the Play Store whether a newer version is available and offer to install it. That check is handled by Google Play under Google’s own terms.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update this page. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any changes.
